NDIS Improved Daily Living Skills Support

Break Free from the Chaos and Reclaim Control.

At Coaching with Nesta, I understand that ADHD doesn’t end in childhood; and for many adults, the daily mental load can feel overwhelming. Whether it’s juggling responsibilities, managing emotions, or simply staying focused, ADHD can impact every part of your life. Every experience is different. My coaching is  holistic and personalised with support that helps you work with your brain, in your unique circumstance.

Together, we’ll uncover the patterns that hold you back and replace them with practical, tailored strategies. You’ll learn how to manage your time more effectively, reduce procrastination, manage emotions and follow through on the things that matter.

Adult ADHD coaching will equip you with confidence as you regain control over life and your abilities. You will be in a safe space of care and trust  where together, we’ll create systems that support you to do what matters to you and lead a life driven with purpose and fulfillment.

I work in partnership with autistic individuals – and the parents and carers who support them – to strengthen Daily Living skills and build confidence in Social and Community Participation.

Through Autism-informed coaching and capacity-building support, I assist individuals to develop practical strategies for emotional regulation, organisation, motivation, working memory, and self-management, supporting greater confidence, structure, and balance in everyday life.

All support is delivered within a strengths-based, NDIS-recognised framework, aligned with individual goals and focused on building sustainable skills for independence, participation, and long-term wellbeing.

Our business process

Our business coaching process is designed to provide structured, yet flexible, support tailored to your specific goals. We begin with an in-depth consultation to understand your business’s current challenges.

Who This Is For

Autistic individuals who experience executive functioning and emotional regulation challenges commonly associated with ADHD-type difficulties.

Independence & Self-Management Support

Coaching and support are practical, structured, and individualised – supporting participants to build sustainable skills that translate into improved daily functioning, increased independence, and meaningful engagement in home, community, education, and employment-readiness contexts.

Unsure whether this support fits your plan?

I’m happy to talk through your goals and explore how this support can be delivered within an Autism-recognised NDIS framework.

Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD) can feel like a sudden emotional storm; intense, overwhelming, and hard to shake. In our coaching sessions, we create a safe, supportive space to understand these responses and build tools that help you stay grounded when the waves hit. Together, we’ll develop strategies to spot the early signs of RSD, help you regulate strong emotions, and respond with greater self-compassion and resilience.

Alongside this, we’ll strengthen core skills like emotional regulation and working memory; so you can manage distractions, reduce overwhelm, and stay focused on what matters most. Coaching isn’t just about coping – it’s about creating habits and systems that support your growth across work, life, and relationships, equiping you to move forward with focus, confidence, and purpose.

Frequently asked questions

How does the coaching take place?

We meet over a zoom call or if you prefer a phone call instead, that too is fine. Some people find they are shy in the beginning, so a phone call is best. As their confidence grows and they are happy to speak face to face, we then can move onto a zoom call. Others just find that the phone or zoom is much more convenient for them, we are happy to meet you either way!

Who is this support suitable for?

This support is suitable for autistic individuals who:

  • struggle with organisation, planning, or time management

  • experience emotional dysregulation or overwhelm

  • find it hard to initiate or complete tasks

  • need support with routines and daily living

  • benefit from structured, strengths-based coaching

It is also valuable for parents and carers seeking consistent, practical strategies that work in everyday life.

Can NDIS participants receive support for ADHD?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme does not currently recognise ADHD as a standalone funded diagnosis. However, it does recognise Autism, and funds supports that address the functional impacts associated with Autism.

Many autistic individuals experience challenges with attention, organisation, emotional regulation, motivation, and working memory – areas often described as ADHD-type difficulties in everyday language.

NDIS funding focuses on how a person’s disability impacts daily life, not on labels alone.

How is this different from ADHD coaching?

ADHD coaching typically focuses on a specific diagnosis and is usually accessed privately.

In contrast, this service:

  • is Autism-aligned and NDIS-recognised

  • focuses on functional impacts, not diagnostic labels

  • is tailored to NDIS goals

  • supports daily life, participation, and independence

The strategies may look similar, but the framework, language, and purpose are NDIS-safe and Autism-aligned.

Is this therapy or coaching?

The support provided is capacity building and daily living support, not therapy or clinical treatment.

It focuses on:

  • practical strategies

  • skill development

  • emotional regulation support

  • routines and independence

  • real-world application

This aligns with NDIS-funded capacity-building supports and complements (but does not replace) therapeutic services where relevant.

What if my child (or I) have both Autism and ADHD traits?

This is very common.

While ADHD itself is not funded, supports can be provided under an Autism-recognised NDIS plan when they address:

  • executive functioning difficulties

  • emotional regulation challenges

  • daily living skills

  • independence and participation

  • planning, routines, and task completion

Support is framed around Autism-related functional needs and aligned directly to the participant’s NDIS goals.
